Adobong Pusit

Ingredients for 4 - 6 servings

¼ cup vinegar
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ kg squid, cleaned, reserve ink
1 pc bay leaf
1 pc finger chilli (siling panigang)
1 pc medium onion, small diced
1 sachet 8g Maggi Magic Sarap
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 pcs tomatoes, small diced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves garlic, minced


Saute garlic, onion, tomatoes, and finger chili in oil for 2 minutes.

Add squid and cook for 2 minutes. Add vinegar, bay leaf, pepper and sugar, then simmer for 45 minutes over low heat uncovered. Add water if sauce starts to dry up.

Once tender, season with Maggi Magic Sarap. Check seasoning and serve.
