Scone Pizza


½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 egg
1 tsp mustard powder
2 Tbsp chopped onions
2 tsp baking powder

50 g butter
50 g grated cheese
50 ml curd
50 ml milk
225 g flour
salt and pepper to taste

For the topping:

1 tsp oregano 
2 tsp oil
100 gm mozzarella cheese
Assorted vegetables

Combine flour, baking powder, soda and mustard.

Rub in the butter to form crumbs.

Stir in the cheese, onions, curd, egg and milk.

Mix well to make a smooth dough.

Pat out the dough into an 8-9" roundel. Brush with oil.

Arrange the assorted vegetables and cheese on top of the roundel.

Drizzle a little oil and sprinkle chopped herbs.

Bake at 220 degree C for 15 minutes until the base is golden in color and the cheese has melted.

Cut into wedges and serve hot.
