Skinny Pineapple Pear Smoothie

Ingredients for 2 cups

1/3 cup water (optional)
½ cup chopped pear, skin on
1 cup fresh cut pineapple, seeds and core removed
3 ice cubes
a couple slices of ginger, peeled (optional)
Directions

Blend everything in a blender.

If you don't have a powerful blender of you want a more liquid smoothie, add a little water. 1/3 of a cup should be enough to get the blender churning. Any more will dilute the natural sweetness of your smoothie.

Drink immediately. Best through a straw.
